High protein banana bread makes a perfect breakfast or snack, it’s packed with healthy fats and is very high in protein. It’s gluten free which is great for anyone with a gluten intolerance or Celiac’s disease. It’s free from refined sugar as the bananas are what add the sweetness and is rich in potassium. It’s also super delicious and easy to make. When you make your own food from scratch you know exactly what’s gone into it, this bread is free from trans fats which are usually found in processed foods especially cakes, biscuits and pastries, instead it has omega 3 and coconut oil to help keep your brain in tip top condition.

I believe that it’s so important to know where our food is coming from as much as possible and I know we can’t keep track of where everything comes from unless you grow or rear it yourself. I always buy organic eggs from a local source, it’s important to me that the hens are allowed to roam freely. Please keep in mind that organic doesn’t necessarily mean that the hen’s are treated well or allowed outside, it’s simply means that they were fed organic food.
