Hi Deborah, great video!!!!! I love beetroot and I too juice it but I sometimes find the flavour a bit strong and a bit too earthy so I have to dilute it well. I recently added it to hummus and find it is another great way to get it into my diet. Love your explanation of the vits and minerals etc its knowing the benefits that keeps me motivated to add healthy ingredients to my diet. Thanks again. Moira
Thanks a mill Moira 🙂 I love the hummus twist very inventive and yummy too I bet!! Yes, beetroot has quite a strong earthy taste and I find it best to start with a small piece when juicing or blending, then build it up from there.
Hi ya missus! Do you just blend it with water in the juicer and if so would you blend complete all at once?
Hi Ann Marie, it depends on whether you’re juicing or blending it. If you’re using a juicer you just add the beetroot and other fruits/veg to the juicer, the juicer will extract the liquid and leave the pulp behind, so no water is needed. Blending is different you add the ingredient to a blender and then add a liquid…water or fresh juice and blend until smooth. Check out my video 29th of April it’s all about making a smoothie.
