Pimp up your smoothie will take your smoothie to a whole new level. Most people forget to add in protein and healthy fats to their smoothie recipes, it is so important to do this especially if your smoothie doubles up as a meal.

To add protein to you smoothie try my favorite pea protein powder two scoops adds 16g of protein to my smoothie, you could also try hemp or rice protein powders too.

To add healthy fats try coconut oil, hemp oil, flax oil or even Udo’s oil.

1 cup baby leaf spinach
1/3 cup cherries (de-stoned)
1/3 cup blueberries
1/2 banana
5 Brazil nuts
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp pea protein

Add water and blend in a Nutri Bullet or blender until smooth.
