The skin is the largest organ in the body and it absorbs everything that is applied to it. If you’re skin care products contains chemicals, those chemicals are going to be absorbed into your blood stream and delivered to every system, organ and cell of your body…scary right!! The best way to cut down on these chemicals is to start using chemical free products…now, I know it can be expensive to buy these products, so why not make your own!

Hi where canI buy the Coconut Oil & what brand is it? Really looking forward to trying it
Hi Siobhan, this is a new one I’m trying out it’s called Cocowel and I got it in Dunnes Stores, it was a fantastic price €12.99 for 1000ml, also raw, organic, cold pressed, non GMO. You’ll get the Cacao butter in your local health food store, I use Iswari and find them excellent. Let me know what you think. Deb 🙂
A lovely video Debs – thank you so much for sharing
What I find with using only the Coconut oil on my face is that my skin gets very shiny, maybe I’m using to much oil? How much should I use and will adding the cacao butter help do you think?
Already looking forward to your next video xx
Hi Vig, you’ll find a big difference when you mix in the cacao butter, it makes the texture waxy and less shiny. You only need a very small amount, rub it between your hands to melt it and then apply to the face or body, let me know how you find it. See you next week xxx
