When your body is overloaded with toxins you lack energy, vitality and your zest for life. Now a days it’s way too easy for us to reach that toxic state, between processed foods, pollution and stress….our poor bodies are constantly under siege. There are lots of things we can do to help detoxify the system and juicing is definitely one of the best.
Love, love, love it Deborah. Keep them coming!
Yay…thanks Moira I’m so delighted you’re loving the videos, lots more to come for sure xxx
It’s great trying all these new juices, tks Deborah xx
Your welcome Shareena, I’ll keep them coming, can’t beat some variety! Deb xxx
Hi Dee jst wondering how often this juice should be taken also is it ok to leave in the fridge overnte?,love your videos.x
Hi Bridget, thanks a mill I’m delighted your loving them 🙂 You could drink it every day if you wanted but you might get a bit bored with it…personally I like vary the ingredients of my juices just to keep my taste buds happy 🙂 I would advise drinking it as soon as you juice it because fresh juice oxidizes (looses it’s nutrients) very quickly…if you have to store it overnight make sure to store it in an one of those stainless steel flasks or glass jars, fill it completely to the top so no oxygen is in the container…but to get the most out of your juice I highly recommend to juice and drink straight away. Hope this helps Deb xxx
Will it work just as well in the NutriBullet Debs?
WellnessROCKS & it always taste better out of a fancy glass 🙂
Keep em coming
Vig x
It will Vig..it’ll be a thicker consistency though so you may need to use smaller pieces of fruit/veg…mess around with the amounts see what fits in the cup. I definitely tastes better in a fancy glass…a very clever woman once told me that 😉 xxx
can i use the nutri bullet for the detox receipe
Hi Annette, you could of course, you probably wouldn’t need as much ingredients though because you’ll be keeping the bulk/fibre in it. Maybe try half the stated amounts and see how you go. Happy blasting! Deb 🙂
Hi Deborah, thank you so much for all your hard work. Love these videos, I’m constantly trying new things or things I’ve forgotten. Just wondered if this juice is to be drank in one morning or is it too much for one person what with the sugars? Thanks again, Aileen x
Hi Aileen, thank you so much for your lovely comment and I’m thrilled you’re loving the videos :-). This juice can be drank in one go, there’s a good mix of veg and fruit so the sugar content is not too high, but if you do find it a little too sweet just use one apple instead of two in the juice. I hope this helps, happy juicing. Deb xx
WHAT MAKE IS THE MACHINE YOU ARE USING ON THIS VIDEO
Hi Annette, it’s a Philips Juicer HR1689/00, I love it and find it very fast. I got mine in Argos 🙂
Hi Debs… I am so scared of juicing but you have converted me now.. I will do it!
Whooo hooo Ailish, welcome to the wonderful world of juicing!! Keep me posted on how you’re going 🙂
Hi Deborah, absolutely loving your video clips, one of the best things I have done is signing up to get them. Do you have any ideas for helping to zap your brain into action, I have two children who will be doing the Leaving and Junior Cert soon. We are all loving your juices, even my 11 year old who hates veggies!! Please keep up the great work. Ann
Hi Ann, I here you, I’ve been studying non stop myself, so I can definitely help you with this one. First thing, lots of water…keep the brain hydrated, it’s a must. Eat foods rich in omega 3’s, like oily fish, nuts (esp walnuts), seeds (esp chia and flax)…they feed the brain. Avoid sugary foods, the usual suspects like chocolate, biscuits, cakes etc but also WHITE bread, pasta and rice, they release energy too quickly, you get a sugar high then a sugar low…not good for concentration. You want food that releases slowly and give an even steady flow of energy/brain power, whole grains, vegetables, fruits (always more veg than fruit). Have protein, carbs and fat at each meal to keep the energy even. Finally plenty of sleep and also have some relaxation time to recharge. I really hope this help and the very best of luck to them. Ps I’m so happy you’re enjoying the videos and keep up the juicing. Deb 🙂
