Raw chocolate truffles are decadent, delicious and good for you. I’m always very conscious of the low grade ingredients used in processed sweet treats, that’s why I prefer to make my own. I love knowing what goodness has gone into my kitchen creations! Makes 20 – 30 (depending on the size of the truffle)
Ingredients
- 65g raw organic cacao
- 60g soft pitted dates
- 80ml or 1/3 cup of melted coconut oil
- 1 heaped dessert spoon raw honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of pink Himalayan salt
Ingredients
- Put all the ingredients in a food processor and combine until with forms a melted rubber texture.
- Put in a dish and pop in the fridge for 2 hours.
- Once chilled remove, take 1 tea spoon of the mixture and roll between your hands until it forms a ball.
- Then dust in raw cacao or maca, and store in the fridge for a couple of weeks.
